Record participants responses

In cognitive science experiments, we will usually not only present stimuli to our participants, but also record their responses to these stimuli. PsychoPy3 can interface with a number of measurements devices from MR brain scanners and eye trackers to biometric devices etc. However, often we will rely on experimental setups where simpler responses can be collected using a standard computer. These could for instance be participants' accuracy, reaction times or ratings. We can also measure mouse movements and sometimes they will tell us the same as the more complicated eye tracking techniques.

In the following, we will introduce some of the fundamental ways in which you can use PsychoPy3 to collect data from participants
